This was a beautiful morning, clear sky and the air charged with an almost electric ambience. Another day in Robo-City.

Me and Robogirl brought Scooter out for a ride. Or was it Scooter bringing us out? Hard to say. Robo World machines are intelligent, free independent entities.

We don't have traffic accidents! It's impossible. Everything in Robo City is connected to the same data broadcast. Scooter knows in beforehand what's behind corners. He's tuned into the traffic frequency. I also could if I chose too but I'm using my resources for other things, letting Scooter do the job.

We often red-line when Scooter rushes into the traffic. We love him! He's so cool. But this day was different. My sensors alerted me.
