But the Robo Myths also clearly declare that any mind wanting to explore the worlds beyond (which is not forbidden) will never be allowed back into Robo World.

This has effectively kept the Robo society more or less intact for aeons in regards of sticking to a 'safe' system. Who would like to disconnect from the Common Data Broadcast?

Ok there where odd stories of obsolete Robo Minds who thought they could escape the scrap yard by actually disconnecting. But by now you know why it didn't work out to well for them..
